1. What is an Energy “Audit”? An “audit” is merely an examination or review. The objective of the audit is to identify ways for the business to reduce its energy use without impacting its current or planned operations.
2. Can you just audit one aspect of the business or facility, like lighting? Yes. Energy Audits can be as simple as one energy target - an air conditioner, or as complex as a Comprehensive Facility Audit looking at everything at the facility.
3. How much can you save my company? Savings are influenced by many factors, including volume, number of locations, local and regional vendor pricing. We typically save our clients 20-50% on their utility bill expenses.
4. How involved do our employees need to be? With the exception of providing the vendor service agreements and invoices (see above), our Consultants will do the rest. We perform the analysis, negotiate with your service providers, and manage the operation on an ongoing basis. 5. What types of rebates and incentives are generally available for my business? It depends on your utility provider, but generally upgrading your lighting, space conditioning, and refrigeration measures are all fully covered by an applicable rebate or reduced by an specific incentive by all utility providers. For a list of items, visit your utility company web site or call us.
